Up for auction is the super sought after and legendary Celtic Frost Morbid Tales EP on 1984 Noise records. This is NOT a reissue or $hitty modern pressing, this is the REAL DEAL. Extremely rare to see these days, this is the very 1st press from Germany on the Noise records label, with black labels and hype sticker on the front cover. Only the very first pressing had this, and it also comes with the giant fold out lyric poster! Amazingly, it has no rips, tears, pinholes, stains, writing or defects of any kind. It does have a few wrinkles but other than that, still in excellent shape. The cover has some overall wear as seen in the pics. There is a 2 inch seam split on the spine, a few creases and general edge and corner wear. Otherwise still very much intact and solid. See high-res pics for details, as they are part of the description. The LP has many light hairlines and sleeve scuffs. I have play tested this and I can tell you there are no skips or any real defects that detract from the audio, just some light crackle during the quiet parts, but it's still not really prevalent. The sound is heavy and full, with great highs and a powerful low end that just kills when cranked, as this record should be! An all time legendary recording that shaped an entire genre. All of these LPs are from my personal collection, and have been meticulously taken care of, maintained in an upright position in a humidity controlled room in a non-smoking home. They have always been in resealable outer plastic sleeves with the LPs stored in static free inner sleeves. These are not run of the mill, beaten up copies; in most cases, they are well preserved, investment grade pieces.
