TG decided to revisit the Heathen Earth idea of recording an album with a live studio audience. Over three days, 12 recording sessions took place towards the Desertshore project, a Throbbing Gristle cover album of Nico's 1970 album. The material here, across 12 separate CDrs, is mostly unique to this release as Gen's contributions were scrapped when s/he left TG.
The album eventually appeared in 2012 as X-TG with guest vocalists, with material created by Sleazy (who dies during the project) and completed by Chris and Cosey. Amongst the music and vocal recordings of the Desertshore Installation were several instrumental jams, one or two per session, which later appeared in edited down to form the TG album The Third Mind Movements in 2009.

As I recall, the wallet was created by subscription, meaning you bought it and it was copied to order in the exact number...I think this was fewer than 200 copies. It came with a zipped outer wallet, poly sleeves, various paper printed inserts and a folded poster of the Desertshore graphic.

As a rarer TG item, the wallet goes for £500 plus when it appears but I'm offering it for £444, or near offer!

Will send well protected and boxed. Please note I have listed this under vinyl records but it is certainly only CDrs... eBay only allow a maximum price of £3.50 for CD postage in the UK and it will be more like £15. I will settle for the max allowed for vinyl UK postage which is £9.50

Postage will be relatively high as I will have to request full extra insurance. I estimate £9.50 UK, £30 to Europe zone 1, £40 to USA. I have to choose ONE international price so that will be £40 but I only ever charge the actual price. I will part refund you OR ask me for a quote and I can invoice you exactly, before or after your order. Or collect for free from Birmingham UK and we can chat about TG over a coffee at Java, Moseley.

Other various TG related things for sale in my other auctions. Please ask if you have Qs!
