Columbia 328-D

Play-graded using a 1970's BSR record player, 33/45/78, with a stylus for 78 rpm records.

Art Gillham: You May Be Lonesome/I Had Someone Else Before I Had You—both recorded on February 25, 1925.

Among the first electrically recorded selections released by Columbia. The second electrically recorded ten-inch record; the first being 326-D.

Later black and gold label; not the original flag label.

Light scratch on I Had Someone Else side. Light dust marks. Light inscription on labels (former owner’s name, I think). I didn’t notice it until the record was tilted at an angle, with a decent amount of sunlight.

You May Be Lonesome: plays V+/V++ music and piano over-rides surface noise; some clicks and pops in the middle of the song.

I Had Someone Else: plays V++/E- lighter surface noise on this peppy song.
