Very Rare OG MONO East Coast Press of The Velvet Underground & Nico's S/T 1967 release with the ORIGINAL TORSO COVER on Verve Records

V-5008. 

The front cover features a fully intact and unpeeled "Banana" sticker. The sticker hangs slightly over the edge but is still fully intact free from any tears or writing. Sticker is incredibly well preserved. See photos above.

The rear cover is very well preserved and the "Torso" image is incredibly clear and free from any damage, ringwear, or writing. This copy has minor signs of use but is still in fantastic shape. 

The LP still has a fantastic shine and the grooves are very well preserved. Any visible hairlines or paper scuffs aren't deep and can't be felt. This copy provides strong playback and the mono mix sounds incredible. Even quieter and more dynamic tracks like "Heroin" sound superb. A rare find in this condition. 

The runout information is as follows:

Runout side 1: etched, V5008 side 1 MG 558 1C block-shaped "S" stamped

Runout side 2: etched, V5008 SIDe 2 MG 559 12, "keyhole" symbol stamped

Record: VG+ There are some minor hairlines and paper scuffs visible on both sides. These marks can't be felt and do not affect playback. There may be some minor pops in between songs and in the quietest moments. But overall, this copy provides fantastic playback. Cleaned on a VPI Machine. Play tested, sounds great!

Cover: VG+ Minor signs of use and storage. Minor corner dings and some slight fraying on the top left of the rear cover. Overall, this cover looks fantastic and is incredibly well preserved. See photos above.
