This is a rare original UK pressing of Tracy Chapman’s Crossroads album
Cover: Excellent Minus - The cover is in very nice condition apart from a very small tear near the bottom on the opening edge and quite a few light stain spots on the front and back that are that light they do not come up so easy on camera but they are there.
Record: Very Good Minus - The vinyl record looks in nice condition with only a few light marks however it plays with some static in the background which is most prominent at the start of each side and in quieter areas however the vinyl record has just been cleaned prior listing so this may be the cause of the static. When the music is playing, it does drown most of it out but it is still audible only as background noise though and never overpowers the music too much.
Please see below for more information about what the grading terms mean:
When there is a ‘Minus’ or ‘Plus’ next to the grade, ‘Minus’ means the condition of the cover/record is slightly worse than what the grade states below and ‘Plus’ means the condition of the cover/record is slightly better than what the grade states below. For example, a cover/record graded as Very Good Plus is in slightly better condition than a cover/record graded as Very Good.
The grading criteria I use is based off the Goldmine Grading Standard. All the vinyl records I list on eBay are test played.
Postage is free to you and this vinyl record will be sent via Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service so not only would it arrive fast but you can also track your vinyl record all the way from the Post Office right to your door.
The grades are:
Excellent - The cover is clean with only minimal creasing, minimal edge wear etc and the record has been well looked after with only a couple minor marks. The audio is always loud and clear with none or minimal background noise throughout the vinyl record
Very Good - The cover has some creasing, minor edge wear etc and the record has some minor marks but still a tidy cover and a great playing record. The audio is mainly loud and clear with some background noise most prominent in quieter areas.
Good - The cover has many creases, notable edge wear etc and the record has many marks and scuffs but still an okay record overall. The audio has background noise throughout including occasional crackles and clicks but no skips.
Fair - The cover has lots of creases, significant edge wear etc and the record has many marks with some deeper marks. The audio has significant background noise such as crackles and clicks throughout the record including some skips. A cover / record graded as fair should only be considered as a collection filler.
Poor - The cover / record is very worn. The record is heavily marked and virtually unplayable. The only records that will be sold as ‘Poor’ will be very rare.
Please ask me any questions if you have them and check out my other vinyl records for sale. Thanks!
