This listing is for the original 1st issue of the velvet underground and nico self titled album, produced and cover design Andy Warhol.

This is the 1st issue with the withdrawn Emerson image on the rear. Not censored or air brushed.

The cover is in very good plus condition. Clean and bright. The banana has been peeled. Still has its original German cat number sticker on the rear and original price tag. Undoubtedly from the German army base.

The record is in very good plus condition also. Plays well with occasional noise in quieter sections. All in all a nice copy of a very rare album.

There is a polylined inner sleeve which I assume is original to the album.
