THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE UK ORIGINAL A LABEL DEMO / PROMO 7" SINGLE BY THE CLASH entitled "COMPLETE CONTROL" from 1977, ORIGINAL UK PROMO ISSUE IN AMAZING CONDITON AND A MUST !!! This copy is a RARE A LABEL DEMO COPY and was only sent as a promo to radio stations and reviewers !!! This collection came from a major UK radio person who worked in a major UK radio station from the late 60's to the late 90's all the copies were ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUES or PROMO COPIES !!! This PROMO 7" was pressed in 1977 on CBS RECORDS, catalogue number S CBS 5664. The tracks are: COMPLETE CONTROL / THE CITY OF THE DEAD.
This PROMO 7" also comes with the ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE and the condition of the VINYL is MINT- / EX+++++ (PLAYED ONCE), ORIGINAL P/S is in VG++ condition (minor tear at opening and a small sticker residue on the left hand corner).
DON'T LET THIS RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO / DEMO CLASH 7" get away as you will NEVER see another one.
