Up for auction are three albums by The Beatles. Included are the White Album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Magical Mystery Tour. These are pressings from the 70s.
The White Album was released in 1968. This pressing is on the Capitol Orange Label from the mid-70s. The jacket is in rough shape. There is a coffee stain on the album, most noticeably on the front, but it also runs along the edges of the gatefold and back. The front is also scuffed pretty good. The photos included are in very good shape, except the photo of Ringo which is torn on the top right hand corner. The poster is in good shape although at some point it was stuck together as the paper has pull marks (the coffee was with sugar apparently). The album themselves though are in very good shape and completely playable. A few minor scratches here and there but nothing major.
The Sgt. Pepper album has the Capitol Purple label from the later 70s. The jacket is in very good condition except for small stain in the gatefold over George's head. Yes, it appears to be a coffee stain. This jacket would look great framed. The album is in excellent condition - no scratches or scuffs to speak of. I don't have the cutout sheet that originally came with the album.
Magical Mystery Tour is also on the Capitol Purple label. The jacket would be in very good shape if not for the big coffee stain on the top right! The stain is also noticeable on both sides of the gatefold. The album is in very good condition. Side 2 has a scratch on the last two songs but it does not impact play.
