UK Release date: 4 June 1965.

 

On offer here is a VERY RARE original UK issue of the first HMV 7” single by ELKIE BROOKS, after releasing three unsuccessful singles for Decca.  Three more non-charting singles followed before ELKIE BROOKS joined a jazz-rock band called DADA (who recorded an album for ATLANTIC).  After their demise, she became a founding member of VINEGAR JOE who released three albums for ISLAND RECORDS.
