The 13th Floor Elevators were one of the pioneering bands of psychedelic music. Many have cited them as the first true psychedelic rock band, and if they weren't, they certainly predated most of the San Francisco bands that gave the sound a global audience. The Elevators played a bracing fusion of garage rock and genre-defying musical exploration powered by Roky Erickson's feral vocal and rhythm guitar, Stacy Sutherland's concise but agile lead guitar work, and Tommy Hall's amplified jug playing, giving them a sound unlike any other in rock.

Now, International Artists Records has produced a numbered, limited edition vinyl box set tribute to the Elevators — so groovy and so visually as well as sonically appealing! You'll want to dig out the tie-dyes and break out the Birkenstocks before you slip Music Of The Spheres on your turntable. So much rich content, it's only available in this edition.

Included in the box set are:

- Three gatefold double and two single albums, all pressed on heavyweight vinyl
- Best sound quality ever for Elevators' vinyl releases
- Strictly limited to a maximum of 3,000 sets.
