From 1953 comes an original deep groove black label copy of this classic jazz 10 inch by the legendary Chet Baker. Very hard to find in this kind of condition, if you are a jazz fan and don’t have a copy of this you can’t call your collection complete. The vinyl has lots of scuffs and light scratches and spindle marks (hence the very cheap price) but nothing deep or horrible, believe me I have seen much worse and being a deep groove mono original pressing it actually plays quite nice, not VG+ but better than VG through most of it, no skips but lots of ticks and surface noise. Really buying it for the cover, (see photos) no splits, writing, stains and just light seam wear and very mild ring wear to the front and back. Only real flaw is a soft corner on the bottom right. Nothing to distract from my late uncle Bill Claxton’s classic shot of hipster jazz at its finest.

Orpheus Music Group has been in business since 2001. We sell used pianos and guitars and vintage stereo equipment as well as vintage vinyl albums and CD's. LP’s have been carefully examined under high intensity lighting to ensure any defects are noted in the listing. All of our 10 inch LP's are cleaned on a specially modified VPI HW-27 Typhoon vacuum record cleaner and may be play graded afterwards – if so, it is noted in the listing. Once cleaned, all LP’s are placed in new audiophile grade inner sleeves and are stored outside the cover. Covers are cleaned and seam splits reinforced to prevent further damage. Covers and LP's, along with any additional material are stored in mylar protectors.
