RCA LPM-1254 - 1956 USA

On sale an original US copy of the legendary first album by ELVIS PRESLEY, issued in 1956 by the RCA. Due to its popularity the album had many different pressings in the US, and the covers had some different details, such as variations in the shades of green and pink.
The copy on sale comes with TWO COVERS, one with dark pink and green text, the other with light colours.

COVER 1 - The light pink & green cover is in Very Good to Very Good+ condition, with some ring wear, yellowing and small stains on the back and a small L stamp on the back cover. The seams are solid and side titles partially readable.

COVER 2 - The dark pink & Green cover is in Very Good+ to Excellent condition. The seams are solid and side titles partially readable.

INNER - Standard white paper inner.

VINYL - Still shiny, has just scuffs and superficial marks and plays with some surface noise in quietest parts. Can be graded halfway between VG and (mostly) VG+.
Record playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

MATRIX NUMBERS - Machine printed, G2 PP1282-6S and G2 PP1283-5S - INDIANAPOLIS pressing

LABELS - Original black RCA Victor labels with Nipper logo, in perfect condition with no tears or writings, just spindle marks around the centre hole.

In vendita una copia originale del leggendario album d'esordio di ELVIS PRESLEY, uscito per la RCA nel 1956.
Dato il successo, il disco fu stampato inizialmente in moltissime copie e le varie versioni hanno piccole differenze, come il colore del testo in copertina.
La copia in vendita qui ha DUE DIVERSE COPERTINE, una con il nome in colore rosa e verde scuro, l'altra con gli stessi colori molto più chiari.

COPERTINE - Quella con testo rosa e verde più chiaro è in condizioni tra il VG e VG+ per normale usura, ring wear, ingiallimento e leggere macchie sul retro dove c'è anche un timbro con la lettera L. I lati sono integri e i titoli laterali parzialmente leggibili.
L'altra copertina, con testo rosa e verde più scuro, è in condizioni tra il VG+ e l'Ex. Anche in questo caso lati integri e titoli laterali solo parzialmente leggibili.

BUSTA INTERNA - Busta standard in carta bianca.

VINILE - Ancora brillante, ha alcune righe e graffi superficiali; suona molto bene con rumore di fondo soprattutto nelle parti a volume più contenuto. Valutazione tra VG e (prevalentemente) VG+.
Disco suonato con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5 gr.

NUMERI DI MATRICE - Stampigliati a macchina, G2 PP1282-6S e G2 PP1283-5S - Stampato a Indianapolis

ETICHETTE - Originali RCA Victor di colore nero con logo Nipper (Voce del Padrone) in condizioni perfette senza scritte né strappi, solo segni del perno del giradischi intorno al foro centrale.
