The 1975 vinyl record I like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It may be the longest title so far.

After the short titled release of the band's first album, The 1975, in 2013, the four-piece spent much of 2015 recording this follow-up. Leading up to the release of this record, lead singer Matthew Healy began releases snippets of lyrics on various social media outlets. They would end up releasing for singles before the entire 1975 vinyl record hit the shelves. Critics and fans alike have lauded this record as a success making it the #1 record release in its first week in both the US and UK. It was also an international success seeing it hit #1 in Canada, Australia, and Scotland.

It continues to be very hard to pin down 1975's sound to any one genre. This records sound has been called dance-pop, dance-rock, indie rock, pop punk, post-rock, R&B, and Soul by various media outlets.

The 1975 are:

Matthew Healy – vocals, guitar (2002–present) Adam Hann – guitar, keyboards, backing vocals (2002–present) George Daniel – drums, backing vocals (2002–present) Ross MacDonald – bass guita, keyboards, backing vocals (2002–present)
