Here is a nice one. The Rolling Stones box set on Mobile Fidelity! Released in October of 1984, it is number 3252 out of 10,000+ issued. Complete with the artbook with the white paper cover still attached, the envelope with all of the warranty card and certificates and an unused Geo-Disc. All eleven discs appear to be near mint and have been cleaned on one of our Audio Desk Systeme ultrasonic record cleaners ( the coolest invention ever, we love them so much we now have three of them) and then put back into their original MFSL rice paper sleeves. Pressed on translucent vinyl by JVC in Japan, they play grade at Near Mint or better (remember we are very conservative) and have no spindle marks or any other signs of having ever been played at all. The box is clean and unworn and the brass clasp is bright and shiny. The only small defects we can find are that the front cover of the artbook is slightly wavy from the glue used to affix the trippy 3D sticker of “Satanic Majesties” on it, not really a defect so much as a design flaw as all of them do it. And surprisingly, just one of the red jackets (MFSL 1-161) has the smallest of a spine split (this is a very common problem that occurred in shipment and most of these sets have many more splits). In short a VERY nice copy of this MFSL set which is getting harder and harder to find in this kind of condition. Most sellers want significantly more for theirs. It will be well packed and shipped like lightning by our legendary warehouse crew (Thanks Leslie and Drew) and should please all but the pickiest of collectors. Look at our feedback and buy with confidence, you will be glad that you did!
