PAYPAL ONLY.  Up for sale is an original mastering acetate from Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee.  As you know, very few acetates are made in the recording process and even few get out to the public!  Rare.  This is 45rpm song on a 10-inch acetate.  The other side was recorded, but scratched out and cancelled--either by the artist or the mastering engineer.  Most of these at Ardent were done by Larry Nix or John Fry.  The song is "Back To The Old Drawing Board" and the time is 4:05  The artist is unknown.  I couldn't identify who it is.  The song is well-done, a late 70's, early 80's synth pop type of thing with slightly new wave-ish vocals.  Lotta vintage synth sounds including a dive-bomb guitar type solo (probably done on the synth, as well)  Somewhat reminds me of Rush in their Permanent Waves era.  Regardless of the artist, it makes a great display piece for your music room or studio.  In fact, there is room at the bottom to write "Big Star" and tell people you found an unreleased master!  Just kidding, of course!  Song plays through fine, there is some scratchiness that sounds.  (these were not meant to be played on home audio equipment, just for studio use only)  There are some stains and blemishes showing from poor storage, see pics.  Label is nice, but has yellowed and the writing has faded somewhat but can still be seen and enjoyed.  Super rare Memphis music item.  TO REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A BIG STAR RECORD.  THE ARTIST IS UNKNOWN, TO ME.  I JUST MENTIONED BIG STAR BECAUSE THEY RECORDED FOR THE ARDENT RECORD LABEL, JUST TO BE CLEAR.  Shipping is $4.00 domestic, and $22.50 International locations.  Payment is by Paypal only, please.  Bid with confidence, I have been selling records to collectors for over 35 years, long before eBay!  I have worked for River Records, Capital City Records, Used Kids Records, and the late Ken Stone.  Thanks for your consideration, Jeff
