12 QUEEN LP'S
I have play graded each LP, details are below. All the LP's were cleaned on my RCM before being played.
Sleeve grade is first, followed by PLAY GRADE, as per Record Collector Grading System.
Generaly, I would say the sleeves are in VG condition only, all have wear to one degree or another, a few have price stickers on, not all have their original inners, but all come with "an" inner, at least. None are better than described.
The LP's play with some surface noise in places, a few clicks here and there, but certainly no jumps or sticking !!! Overall, I would grade the Vinyl as VG+.
So, if you are looking for a fairly well looked after, eminently playable, and certainly enjoyable Queen LP collection in one swoop, please read on.......
QUEEN I: ( Blair Cut ) VG/VG+ only mild surface noise now and then. QUEEN II: ( Blair Cut ) VG-/VG a couple of light clicks on White Queen, a couple of passages of light clicks to side 2, not spoiling the enjoyment though. SHEER HEART ATTACK:VG/VG+ ( at least ) super listen, just slight surface noise on Dear Friends. A NIGHT AT THE OPERA: VG/VG+ ( at least ) excellent playback, Prophets Song, a great test, is wonderful throughout. A DAY AT THE RACES: VG/VG+ two light clicks on Take My Breath Away, a couple on Somebody To Love and light surface noise on White Man, even so, a super listen overall. NEWS OF THE WORLD: VG/VG(+) mild surface noise to side 1, a pop on side 2 with a couple of clicks to Its Late, great overall listen. HOT SPACE: VG/VG(+) just light surface noise between most tracks. FLASH GORDON: VG/VG a difficult one to sound better due to nature of the music, just some surface noise evident. Also, their is a label error on this one, both sides have "Side 2" labels ! although someone has crossed out and amended the correct side 1 side :-) THE WORKS: VG/VG(+) just a few clicks here and there, perfectly enjoyable. THE GAME: VG/VG(+) a few clicks and some surface noise now and then, great overall listen. LIVE MAGIC: VG/VG+ great, just some surface noise on Is This The World We Created and Bohemian Rhapsody. KILLERS: VG/VG+ some light surface noise in a few short passages, 3 clicks to side 1, otherwise, a super play.
I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to and grading this collection, I would happily play, knowing I would enjoy, any of the albums again.
