WOW. Great looking Actual first press  with proper era inner sleeve in nice shape as well.
textured gatefold sleeve and lyrics/credits booklet attached inside. label with
Dudgeon/Buckmaster credits on top rather than on the side. Label sides spelled out (side one and two rather than side 1 and 2) and matrix # US1192 2 + US1193 T4  all date it as a first press.

about this record: can I say it's in my all time top 50 records that include mostly post-punk near the top. still criminally underated and the most solid, cohesive thing Elton and Bernie ever put together. Caleb effing Quaye..they out Band-ed the Band in 1970 and somehow it still works today. Burn Down The Mission. This LP will always remain a powerful thing and I hope one day even the Albini's of the world will be singing it's praises.

CONDITION of VINYL:  Near Mint minus, the minus for small stray marks on side one, where side two is perfectly clean. Someone else might say this is still overall nearmint.

CONDITION of SLEEVE: Nearmint minus again-- not a hint of seam split or ringwear, but a little edgewear on lp opening make me degrade it to minus. which I find is a safer grade on LPs this old if they have ANY flaw I can see.
