Fine 'rural' sounding cuts from this duo in 1944. Grades VV+ and is scuffy with some crackle and on 'Carolina' there is residue which sounds for about 12 revs at one point and occasionally elsewhere-might come off with a clean? - but due to the quality Savoy pressing this disc which retains some sheen still plays nicely overall. Great playing by both men. Well worth the low start price and I would not list this if it was without merit. Not very common either.
PLEASE AWAIT MY INVOICE AT CLOSE OF AUCTION FOR ACCURATE POSTAGE COSTS, PARTICULARLY IF OVERSEAS AS PRICES VARY DEPENDING UPON YOUR LOCATION AND THE NUMBER OF RECORDS WON AND YOU MAY SAVE MONEY IF IN EUROPE. ALL PARCELS ARE SENT TRACKED AND/OR SIGNED.
NB: A clean has reduced the impact of the residue although not eliminated it completely. Neverthless both sides play well with crackle which cannot be eliminated by cleaning! Still a nice record though.
