Vinyl-Reissue des 5.Album 'Individual Thought Patterns' der legendären Band Death aus dem Jahr 1993. Nach dem erfolgreichen Vorgänger 'Human' (1991) waren die Erwartungen sehr hoch, aber der Frontmann Chuck Schuldiner hat mit 'Individual Thought Patterns' bestätigt, dass er seine Vision von Metal noch weiter führen kann. Die Sound- und Song-Weiterentwicklung von Death ist in Richtung Progressive-Metal gegangen und das Album beinhaltet eines der besten Songs, die im Genre Extreme-Metal je veröffentlicht wurden: 'The Philosopher'. Das Album wurde neu abgemischt und remastered von Death' Mastering Engineer Alan Douches (West West Side).
