Earliest UK press on translucent red vinyl - complete with giant poster, insert and sleeve in excellent condition.
Matrix number BTD 541 A1 B1 C2 D1 20th Century Records. First press two-sticker version.
Vinyl is glossy, with deep rich well-defined audio and powerful percussion, horns and strings just like being in the cinema in '77. A few hairlines in bright light and the odd mark here and there.
Play tested. Generally excellent with some crackle in quieter moments on side A and B and occasional pop at the end of track 4/5 where there is a very small scuff. Side C is much the same A bit with a few pops towards the end.
D side has crackle at the start as the music is quieter here but it soon disappears. Nothing to spoil your enjoyment. A real trip down memory lane for me!
