GRADING:
(M) Mint -  Still sealed, unopened records, in original shrink wrap.  In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e., evidence of mildew, bent corners, cutouts, etc...)   I use this grading on sealed vinyl, but rarely (if ever) on album jackets, as absolutely perfect jackets are rather uncommon.
(NM) Near Mint - A very clean record, near perfect.  Vinyl e ssentially looks unplayed, fresh out of the sleeve with no visible signs of wear.  Jacket is typically still in shrink with clean corners and edges, no seam splits, cut-out holes, stains, tears, etc
(EX) Excellent - Near perfect, yet under strong light there might be fine lines visible on vinyl, due to inner sleeve and/or manufacturing process.  Essentially, nothing wrong with this album -and better than VG+ - yet not quite NM.
(VG+) Very Good Plus - A well-cared-for record. V inyl has a few light scuffs or scratches that have little to no affect on listening quality.  Possibly very slight warps that do not affect playback.   Some light signs of wear to cover, including minor creasing, light wear to edges and/or corners, possible cut-out hole(s).  Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.
(VG) Very Good - A used, but reasonable play copy.  Obvious signs of use, many of the imperfections found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition.  Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may have noticeable signs of wear, but still a decent copy.
(G) Good - A well worn record, yet still playable.   While still acceptable condition, there are very clear signs of use and wear to vinyl including significant surface noise, scratches and/or possible groove wear.  Jacket may have multiple defects including seam splits, writing, tape on seams, etc - but still intact.
(P) Poor or (F) Fair - Essentially unplayable, beat up records.  May include warping and/or defects that would keep the record from playing back without skipping. Would only sell this type of record if it was extremely rare and sought-after.
