The Undertones - Teenage Kicks/Smarter Than U B. Side : True Confessions/Emergency Cases Label : Sire SIR4007 Year : 1978 Grade : EX/Generic sire sleeve VG Other information : 1978 Sire reissue with smaller text on label.
Vinyl is graded first then the sleeve. All records for sale have been played and graded to Record Collector standards. If you are unsure of these grades please see the grading table below. I rarely use mint unless a record is new and sealed, hence most new unsealed items will be graded near mint. If you disagree with any of my grades please contact me before leaving any feedback. All photographs are of the item listed and what you will receive.
Postage I will always try to post same or next day, but sometimes this is not possible so please allow 2 working days for me to send your item.
Royal Mail 1st Class - £2.00 then 50p per item / insured up to £20 for loss or damage. Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For - £3.00 then 50p per item / insured up to £50 for loss or damage. Royal Mail Special Delivery - £8.00 then 50p per item / Insured up to £500 for loss or damage
I will always get a proof of posting for non signed for items. Please be aware of insured amounts when selecting postage for your purchase as I can't be held responsible for items lost or damaged if incorrect postage is selected.

Grading
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Only records advertised as new and sealed will be described as Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use
as a collection filler.
As well as the above grades, I use Near Mint, this is for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades I will sometimes add + and - to the grading.
