Musikkünstler aus deutschen Landen, die auf globaler Ebene und zugleich langfristig enorme Erfolge verbuchen konnten, existieren tatsächlich in nur sehr geringer Zahl. Enigma gehört jedenfalls zu dieser besonderen Gattung.
Unter dem Motto The Colours Of Enigma - The Vinyl Series veröffentlicht Universal alle acht Studio-Alben und das LSD - Love Sensuality Devotion: The Greatest Hits betitelte Doppelalbum in limitierter Edition neu auf farbigem Vinyl. Wobei fünf der Studio-Werke überhaupt erstmals in Vinyl-Form erscheinen: Le Roi Est Mort. Vive Le Roi (1996), The Screen Behind The Mirror (2000), Voyageur (2003), A Posteriori (2006) und Seven Lives Many Faces (2008).
Sämtliche Aufnahmen wurden auf Basis der originalen Masterbänder neu für die speziellen Vinyl-Bedürfnisse überarbeitet. Jedem Album wird eine spezielle Vinyl-Farbe zugeordnet sein. Die LPs selbst werden auf 180 Gramm Vinyl gepresst und dann mit einer farblich abgestimmten Innenhülle ausgestattet, dort ist u.a. auch das Logo ausgestanzt worden. Die serienmäßig vereinheitlichte Covergestaltung unter Einbeziehung originaler Artwork-Elemente wurde von Dirk Rudolph übernommen (arbeitete u.a. für Rammstein, In Extremo und eben Enigma).
