Up for sale folks is a ultra clean copy of Meet The Beatles. This is the early stereo version. The record has some significant wear such as scratches and marks. It plays well with the occasional pop and crackle in the background. Very little background noise present and does not over power the music. During song transitions slight noise can be heard. The record grades at VG and the sleeve is NM. The original inner sleeve has also been lost and replaced with a generic white one. This is version one of Meet The Beatles with no BMI or ASCAP credits on the label. Please see my other auctions for more super clean Beatles LP's.This cover has less than average wear. No split edges, no ring-wear. No George Martin credit on back cover. #3 on back cover indicates the Scranton Plant where the record was made. Of the first 200,000 records pressed, about 30,000 were Stereo. Capital Records was so anxious to get them into the US market they printed the labels without the BMI / ASCAP designations.
