This week's record auctions come from a man, who as a kid in the 1960s, was gifted a few boxes of 45s from his next-door neighbors who owned the downtown record shop. The records pre-dated the young man's own musical interests (mostly promos and unsold store stock by lesser known artists of the late 1950s era) so the records went unused, languishing in his family's attic for decades.
