Back in 1966, I played lead guitar on the Infinitives 45 “Thousand Tears/Heidi.” Our organ player has discovered 50 copies, still in the original shipping boxes, stored for years in his basement.
These records in this sale have 3-4mm warp, no pops or clicks, no wear on the labels, and no damage from storage. Records are unplayed except for two test plays to make sure there were no problems with playback and to ensure accurate grading. Records were played using a Shure M91E cartridge with a new EVG .3 mil x .7 mil elliptical stylus tracking at 1.5 grams. The plain white sleeves are yellowed and have some curling on the edges, but no tears or rips.
Records will be placed in new polypropylene sleeves and shipped along with the original sleeves in new cardboard mailers with two inserts.
Please see my other listings for additional copies of this record. Those copies have some problems (bad labels, clicks, spots on the vinyl, etc.) and are offered at a lower price.
The photos of the band are included just to show you what we looked like back in 1965-66, but are not included in the sale.
“Heidi” is included on “Gravel Volume 3” (Kumquat May, KMGR00003, 2005) and “Last of the Garage Punk Unknowns, Volume 2.” (Crypt Records, CRYPT-110. 2015).
“Thousand Tears” is on “Last of the Garage Punk Unknowns, Volume 1” (Crypt Records, CRYPT-109, 2015).
