Parker was one of just a small handful of American artists who went into the
BBC’s Playhouse Studios to record a few tracks for Saturday Club. This session
was recorded on October 11th 1966 with Island Records house band
Wynder K. Frogg after a whirlwind UK tour that took in Blaises Club in London, Club A’Gogo in Newcastle and Dunstable’s
California Ballroom.
