GRATEFUL DEAD: Don’t Ease Me In - Stealin’- 7" 1966 Scorpio 002/3-201 Original
THIS RECORD HAS A STORY LINE ATTACHED TO THIS COPY ---- Only 250 copies were ever pressed. This is The Dead's First Record Release - 1966. I know this is an original due to the "Commercial Recorders" in The Dead Wax. Another part of the story is this 45 came in the white sleeve in the photo from (and signed) by Tom (Tommy) Timony - who created RALPH RECORDS in San Francisco (and a former Cherry Hill NJ native) The vinyl is in VERY GOOD MINUS shape at best; the records labels are both VG+ ... This came into my store from an ex-Arista / Sony / Important A & R record friend from back in the 1980's. He walked in my store this weekend; I hadn't seen him in 30 years. We are located in Colonial Bordentown NJ . On Play AGAIN with three record friends today, No POPS and No CLICKS, Just surface noise - Plays Better Than It Looks - You'll Be Happy !
THIS COPY HAS NO WRITING ON THE LABEL !
You can see from the photo and the lighting - there are surface scratches. This did play thru both sides extremely nicely on our 1200 TT Pioneer.
