Here I have for sale a copy of Around, by Grapefruit. This is a rare first pressing from Uruguay, released in 1970 on the odeon label. It comes in a flimsy sleeve, as tends to be with most import albums. This is also a monarch pressing based on the deadwax information. For those that don't know, monarch pressings tend to have a cleaner and present desired sound. Overall it is in a solid VG+ condition. This album is essential for psychedelic heads! Apparently John Lennon liked them and gave them the name.
Record: I would grade the record as at least VG+. It has a few very superficial scratches and scuffs. It sounds excellent! At least a VG+ sound as well. There is some very light crackling between tracks. The music sounds clear, with little to no surface noise. 1 or 2 light pops present throughout the whole album. No skips. No loops. Nice experience! Clean labels.
Cover: I would grade the cover sleeve as a solid Vg+. The sleeve is thin and flimsy. It is held inside a plastic protective sleeve acting almost as if it were laminated. There's no way to take it off. Very common with south american pressings. It does have a small split in the middle of the bottom seam.
