This is an incredibly rare original 1963 pressing of “Folk Songs and Blues” by Mississippi John Hurt (Gryphon GLP-13157 Mono). This pressing features original Gryphon black labels.
Vinyl has many light hairline scratches, wisps, scuffs, etc. but no deep scratches. There are heavy crackles throughout, and intermittent ‘ticks.’ Absolutely NO loud pops or skips. Still a good listen and an extremely rare pressing!
Vinyl: VG-
The cover displays beautifully. Essentially no ringwear. Spine mostly still legible. No Writing. 3-inch top seam split. Light shelf wear.
