Artist: Virgil Fox Title: The Fox Touch Vol 2 LP: Label: Crystal Clear Records Catalog #: Year of release: 1977
Seller Notes: Direct-To-Disc Limited Edition Pressing Manufactured in Germany Matrix runout side A: CCS-7002-A-2-A M2 sr Matrix runout side B: CCS-7002-B-3-A M2 sr Recorded August 28-31, 1977 at the Garden Grove Community Church in Garden Grove, CA on their Fratelli-Ruffatti organ consisting of 116 ranks, 108 stops and 6791 pipes. The organ chosen for this recording is a new (at that time) instrument. The organ was dedicated to Virgil Fox in June of 1977. Virgil and his manager were so enamored of the remarkable qualities and splendid sound of this Ruffatti organ, that they recommended it be used for this Direct To Disc recording. The organ has the widest frequency response (extending from the 16Hz of the 32 foot pipes, to beyond 20kHz ) and the widest dynamic range of any instrument. This alone would be enough to tax the capabilities of any recording process, but it is compounded by the tremendous energy output the organ in the mid-frequencies and on down to the 16Hz pedal notes. Ownership History: I am the original purchaser. As an audiophile since teenage years, I amassed a varied collection of very carefully played and cared for LP's. Played only on some of the finest equipment available.
ADVANTAGE: I'll use the car analogy: Like buying a one owner vehicle from a car enthusiast/collector or buying a "Certified Pre-Owned" with low mileage and no accidents from a New Car dealer. Versus: buying a unknown car from a Used Car Lot. These cars he most likely purchased from the auto auction. They may have been a Car Rental Agency Used car with many drivers and abusive use and high mileage. Just saying, not all LP's are the same.

Note: These albums are NOT some Flea Market LP's played on a low quality record player. A record can be cleaned, but the music quality may have grinded away. Also, how can someone "visually" inspect a record for audio playback quality? Not all sellers or LP's are the same!
The GOLDMINE Standard of LP Record Grading NM (Near Mint): The vinyl will play with no imperfections during playback. No obvious signs of wear.
VG+ (Very Good Plus): Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects should be of a cosmetic nature, not affecting actual playback.
VG (Very Good): Surface noise will evident upon playing, especially in soft passages, but will not overpower music.
G+ (Good Plus): Can be played without skipping, but with significant surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear.
Please review my listings for your favorites. I hope these LP's find a good and caring new home. Thank you for reading,
Sincerely, Dave
