Welcome to another Preachers Ebay auction. As with previous Preachers auctions, this record is in the hands of one of the original members. Here are his notes on this "Stay Out Of My World" acetate:
"It's the only one in existence, no one else has a copy. This was likely played only a few times. It was straight off the 2" master tape and cut directly at Moonglow Studios in Hollywood, California. We did this recording at Moonglow studios sometime between January and March 1966"
This acetate is noticeably more punchier than the commercially released 45.
Regarding this acetate condition. There is one quick skip which may be due to particle on the acetate itself. It can possibly be corrected. We don't want to tamper with this acetate with respect to cleaning the lone copy. We will leave that up to the buyer. Overall the record looks quite good according to the Preachers band member. The flip side is is blank.
