I have been collecting audiophile records for over 40 years and test pressings for over 30 years. During this time I have assembled a collection of many hundreds of test pressings. If there is anything in particular that you are looking for; just contact me and I might have it.

This is a super rare
Test Pressing
of an
Unknown
Half Speed Mastered
Mobile Fidelity LP
This is the only test pressing in my collection that I have not been able to identify. It features classical music with more of a contemporary sound, something like Dvorak's New World Symphony (but not that). Someone with a better knowledge of classical music will probably recognize it and have a real treasure.
This album is numbered 1-526. That number was later used as 2-526 - the 2 record La Boheme box set.
(Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs MFSL 1-526) (1981)
(Stamper Blank A1 / B1)
It is a great sounding album and there are literally only a handful in existence.
*****
The record is beautiful with a bright and shinney lustre and no marks or scratches. Under intense light you can see some hairline dust scratches. There are no spindle marks on the labels. The original inner sleeve is included.
It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 27 Typhoon record cleaning machine, and then again on a KL Audio record cleaning machine.
The photos are of the actual item for sale.
