ELVIS

1956 1ST PRESSING

CAT NO. RD-27120

Original 1st issue RCA labels with the Silver Spot

Format: Hi-Fi Mono
Sleeve:

The sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition. It is still sturdy and strong and holds the record securely. There are just a few laminate creases on the opening edge, and soft corner wear. Edges and spine is completely intact, no splits, no rips, no writing/ writing imprints, no scuffs. Still very clean and glossy and the fold-overs on the rear panel are still in great condition with a few small scuffs.

Inner Sleeve: Original thick paper poly-lined inner completely intact and still white.

The Vinyl: There is nothing visible that detracts from the jet black  pressing shine - and nothing to cause discernible deterioraotion of the audio. It is a heavy-weight slab of vinyl that lies completely flat on the turntable. Under bright light just a couple of very feint hairlines on each side, and otherwise untarnished surfaces. Grades as Very Good Plus

The Labels: Very Good condition. There is no spindle perimeter wear but has some spindle line traces.

The Audio: Plays smoothly from start to finish on each side with warm mono bass and clear and lucid detail. No interruption or any defects that would cause any discernible destraction to the powerful audio. No skips, no jumps, no pops and no sticks. The intro’s and fade-out’s are mostly very quiet. It will still sustain decades of frequent careful use, and I would describe the audio as Excellent.

It is very difficult to find one of these in as nice as condition as this one.
