Brand new and never played. Here is the background. I owned a tape and record store between 1983 -1985 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. It was located a block away from the high school and next door to a video arcade. I had a TV installed and played MTV all day long. That drew all sorts of young customers.
A group of 4-5 hip high school guys were deep into European heavy metal (Maiden, Priest, Scorpions, etc.) I was more into Van Halen, Night Ranger, Styx, etc. However most of the regular customers were buying Michael Jackson's Thriller and Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA. That was the times...
When I had to close the store in 1985 (lost my lease) the main headbanger sold me this copy of the Soundhouse tapes that he had acquired in 1983 from someone in Canada. It was a difficult thing for him to let go of, but the money helped him get started with his life after he graduated.
The catalog number, lightly engraved in the clear area is 7627-IT. It has ROK-1 as well. See image number four for outside color fading and glue spots on the label.
I have had this in my collection since 1985. It has never been out of the cellophane until I took pictures for this listing. This vinyl has never even seen a stylus. Now, facing retirement, I have decided to let it go.
I know it will go to a good home, and I know how rare it is, so please no counteroffers.
This is a special item for the hardcore Maiden collector; it's an opportunity not to be missed. Will include the limited edition 2 record set of "Talking To Iron Maiden".
The records will be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.
