Another album by Dr Strangely Strange - Kip Of The Serenes on my auction in the first rarest UK release released by Island Pink Label The vinyl looks really good visually. No deep scratches. There are some small characters, but they are superficial and you have
to take a good look. Rather, they are so-called hairlines, visible under light. Visually, I would judge in between strong VG + and EX. On Side One, there is a signature in a ballpoint pen on the label, probably from the previous owner. Look at the picture. When it comes to audio, there are no jumps, loud pops, noises, or frying effects. The album, as you probably know, is quite calm,quiet, so static clicks and some minor, not too annoying sometimes pops can be caught. There are not many of them and in general the album is pleasant to listen to, and the sound is quite clear.The clicks and silent pops I mention are in the intro of the first track on side one - Strangely Strange But Oddy Normal. I think the second side sounds a bit better. In general, I rate the sound on the record as EX. If you would like to, please write to me asking for an audition video.
Cover: VG The front cover is nicely preserved. At the top, you can see a slight curve - just like ringwear is formed. Nothing serious. It is not big. The corners of the cover and the edge of the spine are slightly worn. For the age of the album, I think it's a very small flaw.
You see the photos yourself. Back cover generally ok - slight wear visible at the bottom of the cover. Unfortunately, there is also one
serious drawback - a tear, which I captured very accurately in the photo. In addition to that on the left at the top there is a signature
with a ballpoint pen - also see the photo.
