A high book value LP - "THE ROLLING STONES", the first LP from the band with the same name on DECCA LK.4605 ~ (MONO 1964)

This is a one owner, boxed DECCA logo on non grooved labels LP with a MacNeil Press non flip back cover; I am selling this for my friend who rarely played his records and when he did it was on a top quality Linn turntable.
.

It is in medium weight 131 gram vinyl and has the run off groove matrix numbers "XARL-6271-6A" on side 1 and "XARL-6272-12A" on side 2 but unusually, I cannot see any Mother number or stamper letter or tax code letters on either side, (the XARL numbers are repeated on the labels as usual).
NB: I have only just discovered discogs (!) so may be able to drill down to more detail once I have retrieved the album for further detailed examination

This LP is in good playing condition and sounds very good on my own system (Garrard Zero 100 deck with new Stanton cartridge, Technics class AA amplifier and Jim Rogers JR150 speakers).

It has the 4.06 minute long version of "Mona", (listed on both the record label and the cover as "I Need You Baby"), and the third version of the boxed Decca logo labels which have hardly any signs of play and it exhibits no clicks or pops on either side and has no scratches as the images show, with the music being good and clear with no high frequency loss or distortion. The only negative is some slight surface noise on just the "King Bee" track. It's flat with no warps and no centre hole offset wow and has only minor sleeve insert marking.

The non flip back cover is in good condition as well with no lifting of the laminate, very small spine creasing and no disc access or shelf wear and just very slight ring wear; this is the MacNeil Press printed version. The inner sleeve is one of those plastic lined ones and is the original, in good condition with minimal creasing, no rips and not yellowed and bears the usual Decca blue printed record care of records message on the front side.
Using the Rare Record Price Guide ratings system this record and it's cover are rated EXCELLENT and my 2022 copy gives it a suggested value of £200 but I am starting it at just £37.50.

This record will be sent in a heavy duty card record mailer and card stiffener, with the vinyl in it's sleeve, protected by jiffy foam, to avoid the cover being cut damaged by the record's edges in transit.

Winner's notice; please wait for me to raise your ebay invoice before paying as the prices below are estimates and may be higher if prices change since the listing was prepared or the final bid value (FBV) goes above the insured value shown. If outside the UK, once again please wait for me to pack and weigh the item so as to get an accurate shipping cost to your destination country for your ebay invoice, before paying.
Failure to observe this will cause delays because I may have to request additional funds to cover any extra shipping costs as I only charge what it costs me and add nothing for materials and time, etc. unless specifically noted below.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES: (Collection in person is OK)

Home Delivery: To UK addresses this will cost £5.00 via Royal Mail Signed For(including the cost of the mailer) unless the final bid value (FBV) exceeds £50.00 whereupon it will be sent via Special Delivery at £8.95

The cost to The Republic of Ireland
, France, Germany and most of the near EU  is £12.50 and to farther flung countries such as USA & Japan and Australia it will be £16.00.

I will only send this insured, in this case to £50.00 FBV, and by means requiring a signature on delivery - see more on this below; (if the FBV rises to over £50.00 an additional charge for the extra insurance at cost will be added to the ebay invoice)
No packing charges are added; you just pay what I pay to send it!

The small print, (but please read it!)

NB: This item may be picked up in person, otherwise it will be despatched securely, via a tracked and insured service only, so it will need to be signed for at the delivery address. I will not send it to a PO box, or care of a business address without written acceptance of your liability for loss, theft or damage; the registered address for your accounts within both eBay and PayPal must tally exactly with each other and be the same as the delivery address.

Carriage charges, where indicated, are for UK (zone 1) post codes only.
It may be that the item will be light enough for the "International Signed For Small Packets" service, if so, this is how it would be sent.
Payment may be by Pay Pal/cheque/postal order/bank transfer or with real money if collecting in person, but please note that I do wait 12 working days before posting items against cheques and 8 against bank transfers on the advice of my bank; PayPal payments ensure prompt postage.

Please confirm your full address when completing the transaction via the eBay and PayPal message system to avoid delays on despatch and supply a landline or mobile telephone number or both; I now fully check identifies and addresses before sending items because of fraud attempts and courier booking requires the telephone number.

I now also reserve the right to cancel a bid from anyone with zero or very low/bad feedback; if you are in this situation, you must provide me with your full details by e-mail prior to bidding to avoid this action, and please remember that this auction is in £ Sterling (GBP) and not $ US or Euros or whatever!
You can also forget it if you think I will fall for money laundering attempts.

All attempts at fraud or deception will be reported and the perpetrator blocked at once!

I will immediately cancel the bids of anyone who has only just joined eBay, (please ask before you bid!), or is bidding from Cambodia or Nigeria, etc. and this includes any winning bids placed at the last second; sorry, but I am fed up with losing fees that eBay will not refund!
