Description:

The "Phantom of the Opera" is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart with additions from Richard Stilgoe.

It is the longest running musical in Broadway history. The musical opened in London's West End in 1986, and on Broadway in 1988. It won the 1986 Olivier Award and the 1988 Tony Award for Best Musical. Michael Crawford won the Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Musical.

Cast recordings have been made of the London, German and Canadian productions. The London Cast recording was used for the Australian Sydney Premiere. LP’s are housed in gatefold picture jacket with inner picture sleeve in excellent condition. Includes album size, 24 page, booklet - prologue and play synopsis + libretto, with artwork drawings from the opera. Both vinyl LP's in excellent condition.

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
