LYNYRD SKYNYRD Street Survivors lp original flames cover 1977 U.S. MCA 3029. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS 1st Class Mail.
This is one of the band’s best and most successful albums and is the last Skynyrd album recorded by original members Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins, and was the sole Skynyrd studio recording by guitarist Steve Gaines. Three days after the album was released a deadly plane crash occurred that took the lives of three of the band members (Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, and Gaines' older sister, backup singer Cassie Gaines), as well as the pilot, co-pilot, and the group's assistant road-manager. This is the original release of the album with the foreboding picture of flames in the background on the front of the cover, which was recalled shortly after the crash.
