  This entire set is from an extensive 1,000+ vinyl collection that I am selling in the coming weeks (as well as some CDs/SACDs). I previously compiled the collection over the course of the past 15 years, but am selling primarily because my family is sick of it (though I am keeping a handful that I personally treasure). The collection includes both new (sealed) and used (opened), and ranges among Jazz, Rock, Classical, etc., so please follow and keep an eye open in the coming weeks for future auctions/sales!!! Grading of Vinyl

Unless sealed or stated otherwise, all records are visually graded as follows:

NM/VG++:          Appears handled and played infrequently or very carefully. VG+:                    Surface may show very light scuffs/scratches/hairlines that cannot be felt by the finger. VG:                      Surface shows scuffs/scratches/hairlines, some of which may be felt by the finger.

Once again, I am visually grading used (i.e., unsealed) vinyl to the best of my ability, but I am a regular joe and not an expert in grading (not in manufacturing, retail, or otherwise) and I am listing the majority of a 1,000+ vinyl collection do audio grading each is nearly impossible for me. I am just a lawyer by trade who loves music but now need the space. If I see a scratch on vinyl that is visible in most light, then I will do my best to make sure a photo shows it. If I can feel even a subtle scratch, I'll most likely list it as "VG" per the above defined terms and, if the scratch is material enough, likely will not even bother listing it. I prefer to conservatively grade and avoid any unhappy transactions.

As to sealed items, by default I simply list the item as (Vinyl Mint; Sleeve NM).

Packaging All vinyl is reasonably packed for proper protection and then photographed for related documentation (available upon request). I will make a concerted effort to protect the vinyl during packaging and include proper quality cardboard mailers and, as necessary, bubble wrap and void fill material to inhibit internal movement during transit. Vinyl that is used (i.e., not sealed) will remain removed from their outer sleeve/jacket and placed in a separate inner sleeve from mofi or sleevecity to prevent seam splitting during transit. Shipping, Insurance, Tracking, etc. Buyer takes ownership of the sold item upon payment and my printing of a shipping label, which also means that buyer owns the item at the time of tender to postal service and during transit thereafter. Buyer is responsible for cost of Shipping (unless otherwise stated in listing), cost of and requesting any Insurance or Tracking (I am not a retailer selling from insured inventory and cannot eat the loss if not separately paid for and covered by  insurance), and cost of Taxes and any other third-party fees. Please ask for an invoice if you need any of these additional shipping features. Timely Payment Winning bidder will receive what is shown in the photos. Please have finances in order prior to bidding as payment is immediately due upon purchase or end of the auction. Absent prior approval, I will cancel the order if payment is not received within 12 hours and will simply offer to the next bidder or re-list the item for other potential buyers. Factory Sealed Items As to factory sealed items, I make no representation or warranty as to the condition of the vinyl inside, including as to damage or defects, and so any and all sealed items are being sold "as is" with all risk of damage or defects being borne by the eBay purchaser. I am not an original manufacturer or retailer and, accordingly, cannot replace or swap any items. Most of these are originally from my personal collection and, as is well-known in the vinyl collection community, part of the current value is in them being sealed, new, and unused. I have given great and excessive care to all sealed items during the entire time they have been in my possession, so any damage or defect would be the result of the original manufacturer/retailer or during transit after I place in the mail and for which I will not be responsible or obligated to refund any amounts (in part or in full) (see Insurance provision above). This includes any damage caused by postal service, other third parties, or seam splits and the like caused during shipment. Jurisdiction This may cause me to appear paranoid, but I have been practicing law for twenty years and have seen it all, including people be sued in other States over trivial matters after simply selling something on eBay. So . . . if eBay, for whatever reason, cannot resolve any Dispute that may take place, then Buyer agrees that he/she/it will not make any efforts or initiate any dispute resolution or judicial or quasi-judicial proceeding outside Tarrant County, Texas.
