Up for grabs an original KRAFTWERK "Tour de France" 12" two-track vinyl EP album, 1983 release on Warner (0-20146) watermark sugar label (discontinued), side-2 label centre embossed with "EAST" lettering (Allied Record Co. master), matrix nos. 0-20146-A/B-SR1, preceded by the SRC logo (Specialty Records lacquer cut), top loading matte cardboard cover with lyrics backside, antistatic inner, US made, condition cover: Near Mint (name stamp backside lower right corner), vinyl/labels: pristine Mint (actual pics shown, zoom over).
Inspired by Ralf Hutter's obsession with cycling through nature, Romantic era sensitivity into a techno (read: insensible) world, French lyrics version, concrète remix flipside (sampling cycling race noises ref. Pierre Schaeffer), tribute to the strenuous grand tour ultimately a vehicle for "camarades et amitié" echoing Schiller poetry.
High resolution ample groove EP, analogue synth/samplers vinyl proper only, first press, limited edition, defunct label, rare in such condition.
