For auction is my 14 volume set of Time-Life Big Bands vinyl album collection.   Each one is a 2-album set with one having 20 songs and all the rest having 21.   Altogether a total of 28 albums.  I purchased these new in 1984-1985.  Vinyl is in excellent condition.  Many played a few times, a few played once or twice,  and one still sealed.  Each album is in the original paper sleeve and each box includes the original 12x12 double-sided liner notes.  These have been in basement storage on a raised shelf for 35 years and as a result there is some minor yellowing on some of the paper sleeves along with some spots on the inside of some of the boxes.  The album boxes themselves are strong, fully intact and functional, but some of the covers are not perfectly flat.  Only a few covers have any noticeable ripple.   Again, the result of basement storage.  I have attempted to show the two most noticeable in the photos.  The Woody Herman box (sealed) has some slight damage on the top right corner, please see the photo.  All album labels are fine and again, the vinyl is, in my opinion,  excellent.    Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.  From my smoke/pet free home. Includes (in order of release): Glenn Miller Tommy Dorsey Benny Goodman Harry James Duke Ellington Artie Shaw Charlie Barnet Count Basie Woody Herman (sealed) Jimmy Dorsey Les Brown Gene Krupa Cotton Club Nights Major Glenn Miller
