This 78rpm set was an early custom job recorded at Sam Phillip's SUN Studio in Memphis, late 1951, and issued in early 1952. Contracted by the Davidson Clay Co. See the pictured provenance letter that accompanied this set.
There was a bit of a Casey Jones craze starting in 1950 with a Disney cartoon. 
This narration was by Sim T. Webb, an African American who was Casey Jone's last fireman aboard the train that took Jone's life.
The deadwax with its scripted etchings: 1001 72 / 1002 72 and 1002 72 / 1003 72 are obvious SUN recordings and Shaw, Cincinnati, Ohio pressings. Additionally, red labels are the first pressing. Second labels were dated 1952(the first year of SUN commercial-issued records) and were the same yellow with brown type font that the regular SUN issues had. This is one of the earliest Sun Studios custom sets if not the earliest.
      
Slash grades(E-/V+) mean the second side is in different shape. VV+ denotes between grades.
