Almost mint but with one or two very minor surface marks on the record surface. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. Sound quality remains perfect.  The cover/sleeve should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticable similar defects.

Excellent

The record may show some signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.   It may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect the listening experience. The cover/sleeve may also show slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split.

Very Good

The record shows visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages, and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches. The cover/sleeve may also show visible signs of wear, seam splits or discoloration.

Good

The record shows visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played frequently. It will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. Despite defects, the record will still play all the way through without skipping. The cover/sleeve will have visible signs of wear, seam splits, tape, writing, ring wear or other defects.
