Sam Cooke Ain't That Good News OG Germany 1964 Pressing VG-/VG-
Side 1 plays very well. No pops or tics! Very subtle audible groove wear is heard in the later tracks, but not bad or even annoying. It might look played, but you'll definitely enjoy it. A quiet clean listen!
Side 2 plays well, but has a smidge of audible wear. It progressively gets slightly more audible as the recorded progresses, but it's still a great listen. "The Riddle Song" has the most noise, but it's not too distracting. Perhaps a deep clean would make it sound even better. Plays very clean still and quiet! Again, no pops or tics. There's one pop in "There'll Be No Second Time"... not very loud.
This is a very rare original German pressing! The record has clearly been played a lot in the past, but it sounds fantastic!! Especially Side 1! And "A Change Is Gonna Come" is pleasing to the ears. Ignoring the black marker writing on the front, the cover looks pretty decent.
