Classic comedy LP "That N*****'s Crazy" by Richard Pryor. Reprise MS 2241.

General note: I collected hundreds of vinyl discs mostly in the 70s and 80s when I was young, single and had disposable income. Now I’m an old guy with a bad case of tinnitus.  It’s become increasingly clear that I’m not going to be able to listen to all, or even most of the LPs I collected back then, so it’s time to sell the collection to people who appreciate fine music so my kids don’t dump them off at Goodwill when I go to my vinyl resting place 😊.

My approach when I first bought the records was to listen to them once and transfer them to cassette on my state-of-the-art Teac/Dolby deck so that the LPs would remain as pristine as possible.  In many cases I would buy the cassette or two copies of the record (one for listening) and, in those circumstances, the discs were never played at all.  Since then, they have been stored vertically and not exposed to extreme temperatures.  Consequently, they are mostly in excellent (Record Collector grading system) or near-mint (Discogs) condition with no warpage and very little or no wear. I grade conservatively and any flaws I find are noted in individual listings. Several are as close to mint as you will find but I haven’t rated anything that high because they’re not in the original shrink wrap.  I don’t have a working turntable right now so I don’t listen to the records before grading; it’s based on visual inspection only. I sent some LPs to a friend and he said they sounded great on his system. Your mileage may vary.

I DO NOT RATE COVERS. There are pictures of all covers (including inside for doubles) so you can determine for yourself if any particular cover is acceptable. ALL album covers will show some shelf wear and I try to point out where it’s unusual or more noticeable. All inner sleeves are original.

I’m not a business, just a joe trying to liquidate a large collection. Therefore, I DON’T ACCEPT RETURNS. If you think I’ve grossly misrepresented the product or if it’s damaged in transit, contact me and we’ll see what we can work out.

I ONLY SHIP TO USA because Customs paperwork is a hassle and I’ve been burned in the past. It’s nothing personal.

I will combine shipping on sales of LPs under limited conditions. My mailers will hold a maximum of 6-7 single or 3 double albums, more or less, so there are limits to how many I can combine. Also, keep in mind that media mail rates are relatively cheap, so in most cases combining won’t save much money. If you want to combine, pay for everything then message me immediately with the details. I’ll refund any overage via eBay’s refund mechanism.
