Artist: The Mellokings, Silhouettes, Paragons, Dion and the Belmonts, Bobby Freeman, others Title: Pot of Golden Goodies
Label/Number: Herald HLP-1015 (M)
Jacket condition: VG+
Record condition: VG+
Notes: The cover is in nice condition with some light ring wear and some minor seam and corner wear. The labels are in nice condition with a couple some light spindle marks. The vinyl is bright and glossy with enough light surface scratches to warrant grading it down some to VG+.
Grading: Grading is usually only visual for VG+ or better items, although if time allows I may play to verify the quality of a pressing or just to hear the music. VG items are usually only listed if they are fairly hard-to-find items and are always play graded. Regardless of the grade, if I do play the LP, I note the results in the item description. I use Goldmine standards with Ebay's EX grade added for items NOT QUITE up to NM; but please read the notes above as I try to note anything that might influence the grading one way or another. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record and hope my feedback speaks well for my grading. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.
Mailing and costs: Domestic shipping is via USPS, media mail, with delivery confirmation. I ship in cardboard mailers made specifically for records with additional cardboard pads for added protection. Shipping and handling charges are a flat $5.00 for the first record and $.50 per additional.
Overseas shipping for this one will need to be by Priority Mail International. This provides added protection for both the buyer and for me. And note that I will double box it for added safety so that will add a little extra weight and cost. The price will be the actual shipping costs plus $1.50 for the mailer and pads noted above. I know that customs charges are problematic but, sorry to say, I cannot lower the value on the customs form below the purchase price.
I always mail in a poly sleeve with the record outside the jacket. If there's an original inner sleeve I also remove the record from that and put it in a plain sleeve for mailing. That way, there are no seam splits on either the jacket or the sleeve due to any handling in the mail. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs for multiple purchases.
