Condition (visual grading) cover/record: EX/M

Records grading can be very subjective, so, please, inspect all the pictures for the condition and don’t hesitate to ask any questions about this listing.

The jacket has minimal storage/shelf wear. Bottom corners have a light wear. Please check all the pictures for this listing.

All sealed records are expected to be in the mint condition. However, most of the sealed albums I sell are usually 30-60 years old and they've been in my possession no longer than 1-8 years. I don't know how and where they were stored before I got them. That's why there won't be any returns accepted due to the warps, residue/dust, any factory defects (like bubbles, misplaced labels, double labels, badly cut/pressed pellets, etc.) or any other imperfections which can't be noted without breaking a shrink wrap. Thank you for understanding.

Outer plastic sleeve will be provided for protection.

Grades explanation applicable for this listing:

Mint (M)

Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played. All sealed records (not covers, just records) are graded as mint.

Near Mint (NM or M-)

An LP and cover show signs of very slight handling and is almost perfect.

Excellent (EX)

Better than VG+, but notch away from NM

Very Good Plus (VG+)

A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a COUPLE OF MINOR THINGS WITH IT, THIS WOULD BE NEAR MINT CONDITION.

This is a goldmine standard for grading vinyl records. I purposely emphasized the last sentence of the definition. I’ve seen too many sellers stretch and overstretch very good and even good plus condition into very good plus. It only can be one or two minor issues with the record. If it’s more than that I consider it a very good condition and NOT a very good plus.
