Up for sale is this first "tube cut" pressing of 'Abbey Road' by The Beatles issued in 1969 in France. This "-2 -1" matrix in the deadwax was freshly cut from the original stereo analogue master tapes approved by The Beatles & George Martin. These first pressings are the best sounding stereo audiophile pressings EVER. In the early 1970's they changed to "Solid State" cutting which do not sound as good. The vocals, lower end & other nusiances in the music sound more clearer on these first pressings. The record is in excellent, light been played condition. The UK manufactured laminated cover is in very good+ shape with some record imp[ression wear & edge wear on the top edge. Thanks Frank
