THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ARE YOU EXPERIENCED

A lovely condition copy of this 1967 UK 1st press Jimi Hendrix debut LP with the wonderful MONO audio quality being a true highlight

This is the rare first press UK release, released prior to it's US counterpart and with a different song list : the UK version includes "REMEMBER", "RED HOUSE” and "CAN YOU SEE ME” instead of "HEY JOE”, "PURPLE HAZE" and "THE WIND CRIES MARY" found on the US release. This LP is the debut release from the band and the very first LP release on the Track record label.

Year/Label :  UK Track 1967

Label number :  MONO 612 001

Matrix numbers :  612001  A 1  1  3 1 1  /  612001  B 1  1  1 6 1

1967 UK 1st pressing with excellent (EX) condition vinyl : each side gleams and has retained a jet black sheen and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that just a couple of extremely faint paper scuff marks come into view, along with just a couple of small and very wispy hairlines - all superficial with nothing feelable and certainly nothing to intrude upon the wonderful MONO sound quality;  excellent (EX) condition labels...matt black with silver writing and unmarked apart from a few faint spindle trails on each.  A solid very good (VG) condition Ernest J. Day front-side laminated outer sleeve with all art work, colours and text remaining in overall impressive condition and retaining excellent definition. The top and bottom edges are firm and devoid of any scuffing and the corners remain near perfect right angles with absolutely minimal rubbing. There is some sporadic light scuffing and shelf wear on the spine, however, which does partially obscure some of the spine text and there are a few small and very light laminate creases on the front side. The reverse side has a little ring wear, some light general wear, and a name handwritten in red biro at the top right corner (see photo). Still nice and still presentable though.  Excellent plus (EX+) MONO audio quality with no no skips, repeats, jumps, sticks, clicks, distortion or background crackle - great tone and clarity throughout with wonderful MONO sound quality and every track a great listen. Comes with original very good condition ploy-lined "MADE IN ENGLAND" and correctly dated "067" inner sleeve with no splits or tears, just some mild creasing and the hint of some minor age discolouration towards the top edges and remaining fully functional.

An overall very nice condition copy of this important and highly influential rare 1967 UK 1st press Hendrix classic - a "must" for any rock vinyl collection.   POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £5 using Royal Mail 1st class signed for ;

for continental Europe £14 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £20 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 53 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy.
